Joc's dylanus (Dylanus jocaii) is an extinct Pleistocene species of dylanus named after Joc Perdanny, an English Zoologist, that was discovered in what is now Florida. The fossils of Joc's dylanus showed that they were built like modern American common dylanuses, but they lived more like modern Asian dylanuses as their fossilized leg and arm bones suggests, being more terrestrial than the American common dylanuses. They were most likely omnivorous and likely fed on fruits, smaller non-poisonous animals, and carrion. It is currently unknown why Joc's dylanus became extinct.
